From the Stage to the Cutting Room Floor

Why I’ve swopped my acting passion for my love of dogs

I love dogs. Always have. They’re my soul mate. Best friends. Someone you can always turn to, depend on and share fun times with.

So, when it came to the scary step of changing career in my fifties after a life time on the stage, it had to be something to do with dogs. Not just dog walking (I already do that) or house-sitting (love doing that) but something for their health and well-being. After all, they need someone to take care of them, give them a voice, look into their eyes and see what they need.

So, I’ve taken the (very) scary step of retraining. Challenging myself in ways I never thought possible. And, qualifying as a Professional Dog Groomer. Every journey starts with a few small steps but these were huge, giant leaps – that I’ve enjoyed, feared and followed with a passion.

The result is Groomalicious. I hope you enjoy our dashing tails.
